SETTING UP
STEP 1 - Place your Minimat on the
ground in the desired place.
STEP 2 - Using regular golf tees
through the two brass eyelets, peg the 'anchor'
section in position. If the ground is very soft, use
longer tee pegs (provided).
STEP 3 - Extend the bungee loop with minimal
tension and then anchor in place using two golf
tees inside the loop. Use longer tee pegs if the
ground is very soft.
IMPORTANT - Read the full instructions
provided with the Minimat
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
With
irons (without tees) the golf ball should be
positioned close to the front end of the larger mat.
Taking
a normal swing should cause the mat to move forward
slightly, creating club head movement under and
through the ball with little resistance
similar to natural grass.
For
driver, other woods and long irons where you
want to use a tee peg, simply push the tee into the
ground off the edge of the mat.
SWING TIPS
The
system is designed to stay in place using golf tees.
If not, check that you are playing the ball off the
front end of the mat as described above.
Continued
use should result in a consistent swing where you
contact the ball first . There will not be the usual
bounce of the club experienced on larger, stationary
mats, nor the resistance and shock to your hands and
arms.
Minimat promotes a better strike action which
you can take to the golf course and avoids otherwise
inevitable damage to the grass..
PACKING UP
Please
take care when removing the fixing tees from the
ground so that you do not damage the mat, eyelets or
bungee cord.
