UNIQUE FEATURES
Despite
its small size and low weight (which means
you’re never far from a practice facility) the Minimat
closes the gap between real grass and golf mats.
It enables the golfer to practice
‘sweeping/clipping’ the ball off the
grass-like surface with woods or irons, or to hit
down and through the ball to deliver accurate ball
contact without resistance. Just like taking a divot.
Unlike conventional mats which are
large, heavy and expensive, Minimat is the very
opposite – small, light and affordable. Sets up
in seconds, or leave in place (eg locate one near a
path for last-minute swings on way to the club) or
move it around.
The Premier Astroturf® comprises
professional-grade woven nylon fibres bonded to a
special 3mm dense foam base using specially designed
adhesive cures which are flexible and soft yet extremely durable.
Result is a high strength/weight ratio which keeps
the mat thin, ensuring minimal variance between ball
and surrounding playing surface
Plastic
tracks under the ‘anchor’ component allow
free forward and return motion of the industrial
strength bungee cord to achieve the basic static
elements of the concept.
